Harry McNeel, owner of McNeel Marble Co., built the home in the early 1920s, and marble from McNeel’s quarries is seen in spots including the front of the home and the fireplace in the entrance hall.
Dr. Charles Henderson and his wife, Joyce, bought the house around 1960. They added the stained glass window on the staircase landing, which came from the old Piedmont Hospital.
