During these tough times for builders, some folks in the industry have had a pretty good month. The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association recently announced its annual award winners, acknowledged for their work in the community and on the job.
Builder of the Year was Mike Smith of Harcrest Builders, whose metro communities include Habersham on Laurel Springs in Suwanee. The price has dropped to $523,570 on Harcrest’s five-bedroom, four-bath home at 5020 Habersham Hills Drive. Built-ins, beamed and coffered ceilings are plentiful, and there’s an outdoor fireplace for enjoying these fall temps.
Harold Cunliffe of The Pacific Group, a real estate investment and development company, is the recipient of this year’s Lewis Cenker Award, which recognizes those who made a lifelong contribution to the advancement of Atlanta’s homebuilding industry.
Also recognized: John Cooper as Chapter President of the Year, acknowledged for his work regarding DeKalb County’s infill development and Rocco Sinisgalli of Oneida Builders and Oneida Properties as Council Chair of the Year.

wow! it really is an amazing house… i hope that whoever purchases this lovely home could maintain the way it currently is… it would surely be highly valued in years to come if that happens… having a gorgeous house is one thing but having a well-organized living space is another… a beautiful house will just go to waste is there are no custom cabinets where things could be safely placed. the house will surely look lovely inside and out.
