Thank you for tracking down the explanation. I was suspecting it would be some sort of Louisiana-inspired design. It’s a beautiful home nonetheless.

In my interview with Rick, he described the home as American colonial. And when we were talking
about specifics such as the roof, he mentioned that reflects the Dutch influence.

He also talked about how this home demonstrates a style the firm has coined as “generational architecture.” That’s seen in how it looks
like the home has passed from generation to generation and been added on, with the main body of the house, then the garage on the left and
the master bedroom on the right.

Thank you so much for using our house! I am just wondering, did Rick give a general overview for the style of the house? Did he say “American Colonial with Dutch influences” or anything? I literally have this problem all the time, and I usually need a phrase to wrap everything into a package…
