Sale of the week: Dean Gardens update

Dean Gardens – one of the spots in Atlanta where I admit I always have the urge to slow down, pull over and gaze at when driving along Old Alabama Road in north Fulton – is entering 2010 still on the market for $13.9 million.

So agent Suzanne Close shared some thoughts into the plans to find a qualified buyer for the pink estate with eight bedrooms plus a 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, amphitheater, wedding chapel and more on 58 acres.

“Whether it is a corporate buyer or institutional or private I have to think outside the normal avenues. Now I am exploring luxury auctions, tax deferral programs for government agencies and working on a possible private investor event with another agent,” says Close, founding member/broker associate with Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty.

Getting creative may be just what it takes for the eye-catching estate to sell.
